2. How to set up Outlook Mobile App on Android

1. Launch the Outlook app on your mobile phone
2. If this is the first account to be set up, skip to step 3. If you have other accounts set up, then you need to access the Add Account menu:
   • Select your profile icon to access the menu, then select the Settings icon (cog), then Add an account
3. An Add account screen will appear. Enter your email address and select Continue.
4. Select Set Up Account Manually if this option displays. If not, skip to step 5.
   
   Note: If the setup goes straight to setup an ‘exchange’ mailbox (says “Connect Exchange” at the top), click on the small question mark at the top and change it to “connect IMAP”.
5. Select IMAP under the Advanced setting
   
6. Complete all Advanced Settings
   Note: Find your email settings by adding your email address in the Show Settings box at the top of this article.
   
   • Email address – type in your full email address (in lowercase)
   • Display name – Your full name (e.g. John Smith)
   • Description – i.e. Work
   
   IMAP Incoming Email Server
   • IMAP Host Name & Port – mail. followed by your domain name e.g. mail.example.com* /Port number is 993
   Security Type: Choose SSL/TLS
   • IMAP Username is the full email address
   • IMAP Password is the mailbox password
   
   SMTP Outgoing Email Server
   • SMTP Host Name & Port – smtp. followed by your domain name e.g. smtp.example.com*/465
   Security Type: Choose SSL/TLS
   • SMTP Username is the full email address (same as IMAP)
   • SMTP Password is the mailbox password (same as IMAP)
   
7. Select the tick at the top right and the app will attempt to log in
   
8. The next screen will confirm that the email account has been added successfully.
9. If you would like to add another email account, select Add. If not, select Maybe later.
